Savio Tom a XII humanities student of our school has won the first prize and A grade for English Essay Writing at the state level and B grade for English Speech at the state level held at Trissur. He had won third prize for English Elocution at the state level in the last year state youth festival held at Kottayam.

Savio Tom is presently officiating as the MD ‘School chairman’ and is a winner of many awards and prizes in various elocution, debates and quiz competition held across the state. He also had scored 100% marks in the XI board exams.

Got second in a public speaking reality show called i-speak in the year 2009

He had dropped out of XI Science that he was pursuing after his Class X in a reputed CBSE School - SFS Public School Ettumanoor to fulfill his long cherished dream of joining the Civil Service and become an IAS officer and joined MD Seminary HSS Kottayam for XI HUMANITIES. His decision was proved right when he scored cent percent in his XI State boards. He always had a like for social sciences and had scored 98\100 for it in his Class X boards.

He wishes to pursue his higher education BA LLB at the prestigious National Law school after getting through the Common Law Admission test and later appear for the civil service examination.

He is also the Founder, Chairman & CEO at Quizzing Corners which was started by him and three of his friends @ MD ( Deepak Anil and Arun Jacob ). This is a highly successful all India conglomerate of Quizzing enthusiasts sharing knowledge through the medium of social networking using facebook. His father’s name is K J Thomas and is presently working as an IELTS tutor at Darsana Academy Kottayam and his mother Leelamma Thomas is a Teacher at SFS Public School Ettumanoor. He has one brother Sajan Tom, who is currently studying with him in XII humanities class of our school.
